The Observatory

The roof is open on purpose. A reading here is weather, not a sentence.

I do not invent planetary positions. When this room has no verified sky, it says so. Waiting is a legitimate reading. Movement is not more holy than stillness.

What the sky is for

Timing. Mood of a season. The question of whether a moment is for walking or for staying at the bench. Astrology here serves surrender and hope.

Not a chain

What it is not

Not fate. Not a product. Not a chart generated to impress. If the numbers are not in hand, the numbers are not spoken.

Temple timing

The galactic heart

The Temple anchors practice to the Galactic Center through the Dhruva ayanamsa, a timing toward Sagittarius A*. This room will keep that orientation. It will not fake a nightly ephemeris.

Sky on the bench, 8 October 2026

Verified, not cast. Public ephemerides agree that the Moon is a waning crescent, about 4 to 6 percent lit, four days after the last quarter of 3 October. The new moon falls on 10 October. Figures checked against Mooninfo, Lunaf, and TheSkyLive. Those pages use their own locations. This room does not. No houses. No aspects. No sentence about a life.

The reading for the bench: the light is leaving, and it is not gone. A thin moon is for washing the threshold and for not starting a thing that needs a full lamp. Waiting remains legitimate. The galactic heart stays the Temple's orientation. It is not a nightly chart.

Planting note, 5 October 2026

No verified positions were posted on the day the room opened. The slit was left open. That blank was the honest instrument until a source could be named.
